In Its Second Year, Maitardi Brings Together Italian Fashion, Auto, Moto, Fine Jewelry, Food and Music

Maitardi holds its second annual extravagant evening of Italy-flavored celebration: Notte Italiana. Ducati, Vespa, Fiat 500, Rebecca Jewelry and TAJ fashion by Sabrina Crippa will showcase their latest collections on Wednesday April 13th, 2011 from 6 to 10pm while guests enjoy music by Paolo Albertoni, complimentary tapas and Prosecco from 6 to 7pm.

The second annual Notte Italiana is a unique opportunity to preview, up-close, the finest Italy has to offer in fashion, auto, moto, fine jewelry and food. Ducati will host a lounge area featuring four of their latest and most popular motorcycle models along with Ducati products and entertainment.

Vespa Fort Lauderdale, with an additional store on Lincoln Road, will bring its famous scooters in their latest colors and accessories. High gas prices propelled the convenient and chic two-wheeler into mainstream as a must-have in several of Miami’s neighborhoods such as South Beach, Downtown, Design District, Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove. Notte Italiana also kicks off Vespa’s partnership with Graspa Group for the Vespa Rally event series “Maitardi for a Vespa – Never Late for a Vespa”.

The not-yet-available-for-purchase FIAT 500 (Cinquecento), the newest model from the brand aimed at the young hip market, will be the centerpiece of Maitardi’s piazza. The small 3-door car is a cute, playful compact with soft rounded styling with customization options such as stickers, alloy wheels, badges to style details, elegance and comfort. The interior boats chrome elements, two-tone seats, protective environment for both driver and passenger, handy storage compartments and small details like a fragrance dispenser.

For the sparkle at Notte Italiana, Rebecca collection will shine as it has taken the jewelry market by storm since its inception a decade ago. Alessandro Testi, created the Rebecca collection by utilizing a proprietary 24-karat gold plating process, semiprecious gems and innovative designs inspiring the worldwide phenomenon of Italian fashion Jewelry. Maitardi is putting the spotlight on Rebecca’s latest precious designs, a perfect match to the Design District’s motto.

At last but not least, Sabrina Crippa, an Italian up-and-coming luxury designer, will fashion TAJ brand designs and accessories of only the finest quality silks, leathers and cottons, often featuring intricate embroidery, semi-precious stones, fine crystals and other luxurious details. Sabrina’s pieces will be on mannequins and models throughout the evening of Notte Italiana.

Models wearing TAJ and Rebecca Jewelry will be coiffed by Rossano Ferretti Hairspa’s stylists and Notte Italiana is supported by Societa Dante Alighieri, the cultural branch of the Consulate of Italy.
