More about Mourlot
The Atelier Mourlot, founded in 1852, was a lithographic print shop located in Paris, France.
The Atelier Mourlot became involved in the printing of illustrated books as well as high quality
posters for the French National Museums and major foreign institutions. By 1937, Mourlot had established its reputation as the largest printer of lithographs.

Under his patronage, many major twentieth century artists visited the shop and worked there to create original graphic works of art. The list of artists who worked at the Atelier Mourlot is extensive: Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Miró, Chagall, Léger, Dubuffet, Calder, Le Corbusier and
many more…

Although today the lithographic presses lie dormant and the stones are cold, the history of the
collaboration between Mourlot and these masters lives on the graphic works that remains.
