To benefit The World’s Kitchen (TWK), a local non-profit that feeds children locally as well as across the nation and the world, I am organizing an event on September 4, 2011 with a funraising component. After holding several successful Mini Beer-Up’s (Twitter meet ups for beer tastings), the decision has been made to add an charity date auction of some local men and women influential on Twitter in South Florida. We are also creating “date packages”, experiences for each so that every bid is on not just the person but the package as a whole.
