Join us for Open Studios and get to know the artists that make up the Bakehouse Art Complex Studio Residency program!

FOR THE NIGHT –

Join us for a dedicated tour of artist studios whose diverse practices explore the intersection between art and the environment: Morel Doucet, Jenna Efrein, Christina Pettersson, Sebastian Ruiz, Lauren Shapiro, and Troy Simmons.

The tour will begin at 8:20PM, outside the Audrey Love Gallery.

The Swenson Gallery

An installation of 35mm slide images, projectors, viewers, small gauge films and light tables. The selected images will highlight 30+ years of collecting and amassing over 100,000 photographic images and projection devices.

Media and Archival Studies (M.A.S.) is an artist-run media archive focused on connecting artists and the general public to Miami’s unique archives and collections as a source of information and inspiration.

Located in the Bakehouse Art Complex, M.A.S. is open as a media resource, research center and art, photography and film reading room.

PLAY, LAY, AYE explores a contemporary queer interpretation of tête-à-tête, a classic French design, which translates to “head to head”. The structure acts as an intimate meeting point, inviting all to sit and reflect, gather, and share their ideas of openness and outness.
