A powerful exploration of what it means to be a woman. To grow old, and to remember. This piece, which is part documentary video and part live performance, is a journey into the lives of women over 65 years of age across Miami, Puerto Rico and Quebec. Retiro melds the autobiographical with the surreal to illustrate the volatility of time, the reconstruction of memories, and the process of aging in women.
