Florida’s “Undisputed Jam Kings of Tampa Bay”, COPE, will be joining live looping master Zach Deputy for a four-show Florida tour hitting Tallahassee, Gainesville, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando February 3rd – 11th.

Listen to COPE (either “live” or recorded), and you will hear an audial smorgasbord of influences and styles. Rock passages blend seamlessly with reggae, roots rock, and soaring vocal harmonies to provide a smooth swagger that makes the ladies dance, and the lads bob their heads. Following COPE’s set, Zach Deputy will perform with an energetic backing band, adding even more layers to his “Island-infused, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Gospel-Ninja-Soul” show that has made him a favorite of the festival circuit from coast-to-coast. Combining two intoxicating bands on one evening is sure to result in an all-out dance party that’s not-to-be-missed.

COPE will also be performing on Friday, February 10th at 6:30 PM (Orange Pavilion) at the 1st annual Grassroots Virginia Key Festival featuring Arrested Development, ArtOfficial, The Del McCoury Band, Fishbone, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Rubblebucket, Toubab Krewe, and many others.

Dennis Stadelman offers his chops on vocals, guitar, and banjo, while his brother Kenny shares vocal responsibilities and lays down his delicious grooves on bass guitar. Dave Gerulat (drums) and Juan Montero (keys/saxophone) add their own flourishes and musical pedigrees to the mixture. Their first release “Going Home,” was nominated for the Homegrown Music Network (HGMN) “Studio Album of the Year” in 2009. COPE turned that momentum into several headlining spots at marquee music festivals up and down the East Coast including Bear Creek before venturing back to the studio to record their newest album, “See” which finished in the Top 5 for HGMN’s 2011 “Studio Album of the Year.” COPE was recently dubbed the “Undisputed Jam Kings of Tampa Bay” (Mark Warren – Skipper’s Smokehouse Talent Agency) and the band ventures forward into the next decade, primed and ready for discovery. www.TheRealCOPE.com

On his newest release Another Day (Eusonia Records, 2011), Zach Deputy– known for his next generation “live looping” and one man dance parties– conveys the sensibilities of a true singer/songwriter and demonstrates his extraordinary ability to perform and record in multiple contexts. On this performance, Zach Deputy introduces an energetic backing band to his “Island-infused, Drum ‘n’ Bass, Gospel-Ninja-Soul” show that has made him a favorite of the festival circuit from coast-to-coast. www.ZachDeputy.com
