* Papadosio: This Asheville, NC live electronic act recently won a coveted spot on Jam Cruise 2011, solidifying their mainstay in this ever evolving market. Some music because of its originality, timelessness, mass appeal, or perhaps because it is just plain odd, will always be destined for the hallowed halls of cult classicism. No band fits this criteria better than Papadosio. In just four years, Papadosio has wowed crowds from Denver to NYC, Cleveland to Atlanta, shaking the earth at festivals and clubs alike. www.papadosio.com

* The Malah: This Greenville, SC based trio has been captivating ears with their malahdic electro grooves since December 2003. In an over-saturated “jam” market, The Malah are making their mark with finely-structured music that remains fluid and open to interpretation. By mixing rich, earthy atmospheres with electrifying rhythms, the Malah explore the meeting point of cutting-edge technology and ancient musical theory. The band has been making a serious impression on the jam-loving scene in the South and beyond by constant touring as well as hitting the festival scene with a vengeance. A Malah set will take listeners on a journey from beginning to end and their live shows are a spectacle not to be missed. www.themalah.com

*Lingo: Hailing from Marietta, Georgia, Lingo has been turning heads in the southeast for over two years. With their infectious blend of songwriting and jam, they continue to blossom into one of the premier live acts in the region. With their debut album released in January 2009, recorded by Athens producer, John Keane (Widespread Panic, R.E.M, B-52′s, Indigo Girls…Etc), with a guest appearance by Randall Bramblett, Lingo will continue to rapidly grow into a funky force to be reckoned with. Lingo garners a sound that remains un-definable, yet recognizable. Whether it is the mixture of the subtle acoustic guitar accompanied by the flair of the electric guitar, the unique vocals that capture your attention, or the prominent bass and percussion that add their own signatures to the Lingo sound, it is clear that Lingo’s music has tapped into something unique and special. www.LingoMusic.net

*Aquaphonics: Aquaphonics is a uniquely funky electro-soul indie band that is quickly gaining steam in their native South Florida. Derived from friends and jam sessions, Aquaphonics has boasted several different members and worn different skins, yet to this day retains its original, liquid, “Aquaphonics Sound.” The band is comprised of founding members, Jessiah Weston (drums) and Alan Martinki (keys), who have been melding their music since 2000, along with dynamic guitarist Steve Elmore and bassist Jim Dinsmore. Their edgy grooves and inspired song writing continues evolving and has recently earned them spots supporting Perpetual Groove and a set at Bear Creek Music & Arts Festival in November. www.aquaphonicsband.com

* DJ Craig Heneveld: Sliding his way into the innovative electronic artists coming out of the South is producer and DJ, Craig Heneveld. Craig combines a diligent work ethic in the studio with a passion for igniting the dance floor. Highlights of his career include opening for acts such as Mark Farina, EOTO, Perpetual Groove, BoomBox, Pnuma Trio as well as performing at Underground Sound 5, Trinumeral 2010 and AURA 2010. He is a set break staple for the freshest up-and-coming acts in the jam-tronica scene such as The Malah, ep3 and Papadosio. If there’s a national jam-tronica act coming through southern Florida, chances are Craig will also be on the bill. www.djcraigheneveld.com.
