Minimax, Wynwood Map, Brewed Events, and Secret Garden have come together to bring a one of a kind experience to Art Basel 2016. These powerhouses have joined forces to curate four city blocks of murals, created by some of the most acclaimed artists from around the globe along with a pop-up beer garden and a massive event space. Enter Smashed Canvas, the welcome mat for the entire Wynwood district with something for everyone.

The Smashed Canvas complex is an experience you don’t want to miss. Smack-dab in the middle of Wynwood, you will find one of the largest independently produced mural installations of Basel, along with your perfect getaway; a sweet, little public drinking house featuring craft beer, cocktails, and delicious food provided by ITO Mojitos y Cafecitos. Over 20 of the world’s most respected muralists – including names like SHOK-1, Love Pusher, Glare, Soten, HOACS, Globe, Mastro, Rask, Kemp, Musa, Narc, Rei21, Skor, Sniks and many more – will be painting the entire parcel of land from NW 2nd to NW 3rd and 28th street to 29th street, creating the perfect reception to the beautiful Wynwood Arts District. Smashed Canvas is more than an event – it’s an experience.

Kick off your Basel 2016 with some great music from DJ Wellfed Boy & DJ Miner plus a special performance from Neopolitan along with great beers from Magic Hat Brewing Company along with a full bar and some delicious Latin fusion cuisine from ITO Mojitos y Cafecitos.
