We are hosting the SOFLO Prints & Publications event scheduled for Saturday May 24th at Turn Based Press in Downtown Miami. The event will begin at 6 p.m. at Turn Based Press and will be open to the public and to all visiting artists. Members of the O,Miami Poetry Festival and faculty from the New World School for the Arts will also be in attendance, making this event an enjoyable and eclectic mix of artists, professionals, and curious locals.

The SOFLO Prints & Publications event is a single day art show featuring printed material by Jaffe Center for Book Arts Artists-In-Residence Julia Arredondo and Tom Virgin, a pop-up shop featuring Vice Versa Press paper goods, and an early bird cassette tape release by Miami-based music label Other Electricities.

Turn Based Press is a membership-supported community printshop located in the Downtown Arthouse complex of artist studios and art galleries. In it’s first few months of operation, Turn Based Press is an up-and-coming artist resource supporting the practice of printmaking as a tool for community and communication.
