Photographer Marlene de Lazaro and video artist Marlene Lopez’s imagery are in the opposite end of the spectrum. De Lazaro’s photography’s serenety and quietness gives the viewer a deep sense of zen like feeling, where Lopez’s videos move at a very past face, contain high energy and are very experimental. It is the contrast of the two what decided adal delgado, chief curator at the 6th street container to have them together in the same space.
