Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, an international Flamenco company based in Miami is pleased to announce the world premiere of Cleopatra y Cesar, a flamenco Ballet by Ilisa Rosal and inspired by George Bernard Shaw’s play “Caesar and Cleopatra” as the opening night for this year’s Miami Dance Festival.

Created and Choreographed by – Ilisa Rosal, Artistic Director of Ballet Flamenco La Rosa.
Performed by – Leonor Leal as Cleopatra, Gabriel Arango as Cesar, Jorge Robledo as Marco Antonio, Niurca Marquez as Ftatateeta and Jose Junco as Potiano, and other
international artists.
Music by – Special Guest Artist Composer and Guitarist Jose Luis Rodriguez and Guitarist/Singer Paco Fonta in collaboration with Ilisa Rosal and Joe Zeytoonian and Myriam Eli of Harmonic Motion Middle Eastern Dance and Music Ensemble.
