“Lions are beautiful, magnanimous creatures. To me, simply put, they represent strength and love. Their majestic peace is something I’ve always related to and gravitated towards. Creating this series was very fun and light, yet it intimately expresses how I feel about those closest to me. There are 11 total pieces in the series. Each piece was inspired by one and/or multiple people in my life and came naturally over the course of about 2 years. They’re all mixed media.. Drawn with pencil on wood and painted with airbrush acrylics, chalks, stains and partially coated with polyurethane.”
