(_glitch) will be an exhibition presented in North Miami Beach, Florida, with an opening reception on August 27th, 2010. This exhibition will be held for three weeks for viewing at Chirinos Sanchez Gallery (CS Gallery). “Glitch” will be curated by Xibie Corea, who will also be exhibiting some of her own work. This event will showcase the following group of artists: Cris Bozas, Dario Posada, Gianfranco Bianchi, Humberto Busto, Juan Navarro, Raul Lopez Pomares, Tatiana Silvia Sainz and Tolibia. Every artist has been challenged to create a conceptual piece around the theme of a “glitch” (or going through a glitch) and what it means to each one of them: visceral, personal, and self. Through a variety of pieces during this exhibition, the audience will be entertained by different perceptions created by each artist featuring works around their own medium, such as painting, sculpture, motion graphics, illustration and mixed media.
