Malini Murjani Trunk Show at Curve Soleil

Malini Murjani’s Spring 2010 collection, champagne, and cupcakes were at the center of an elegant evening at the supremely chic Curve Soleil in the Gansevoort South, Miami Beach. This highly anticipated Trunk Show presented the Miami fashion forward set with a prime opportunity to peruse the designer’s spring handbag line while sipping some bubbly and indulging in Grand Marnier infused “Kupcakes by Kristie”. An attractive juxtaposition of the pieces, like the now famous Celine shoulder bag (as seen on the hit T.V show Gossip Girl) and trendy tortoise Megan clutch, lead the way as Trunk Show attendees surrendered to the Malini Murjani vision.

The Malini Murjani collection is a brilliant reflection of the designer’s lifestyle and constant osmosis from one culture to another; “Creativity is always at its zenith when it comes from a deeply personal place,” says Murjani. Signature elements like metallic mesh and tortoise shell, significant of the designer’s innovation and versatility, are exactly what attract style casters to her designs, often featuring the latest creations in international publications like Vogue Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar.

Curve Soleil has become the purveyor of global style on Miami Beach ensuring that residents are always on trend. Curve has built a solid reputation for having its finger on the pulse of fashion; with locations also in NYC & LA, the Miami offering made the perfect location for Murjani’s Trunk Show. “The Malini handbag line is fabulous and more importantly, current. We were really pleased to showcase this designer and make her introduction to Curve’s Miami customer,” raved Curve Soleil Manager Jennifer Binder. “We felt strongly that a collaboration between both the brpr spouses, Malini Murjani and Curve, was an obvious fit and that the boutique offered the ideal backdrop for Malini’s stunning pieces,” explained brpr Group partner Jennifer Batchelor. The night was all about fashion and catching up with Miami society in forecasting what else is going to be hot this season, other than the infamous Miami summer. This was definitely an evening where Serena Van Der Woodson herself would have certainly felt right at home.
