The Association for Women in Communications South Florida Chapter will host a free professional development seminar entitled “Social Media: Challenge or Opportunity?” at The Havana Club, 200 South Biscayne Blvd., 55th floor, on Thursday, June 18th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Topics include:

What opportunities and challenges do we face with these tools?
How do we understand and participate in communities in our current age of many-to-many media?
How can we use them to drive real business?

Both members and nonmembers may register online to receive free admission, a free drink, and free appetizers. [www.awcsouthflorida.org]
