City of Miami District Five Commissioner Christine King will join acclaimed bestselling author S.A. Cosby for a special evening of conversation at the Historic Lyric Theater in Miami’s Overtown. Presented in partnership with the Southeast Overtown Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (SEOPW CRA), Books & Books and Roots Bookstore & Market, the discussion will explore Cosby’s latest work and the themes of race, class, identity and justice that have shaped his celebrated crime fiction. A limited number of free admission tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with paid admission options also available for attendees interested in a signed copy of Cosby’s Truth to Power: A Luke Cage Marvel Crime Novel.
