Get ready to dive into a slimy, muddy, ooey-gooey adventure at the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS)!

Unleash your inner scientist with messy hands-on experiments, meet animal ambassadors who dig, crawl and slime their way through life and discover how our Life Sciences team cares for the amazing creatures that call MODS home. Create your own muddy masterpieces, stretch and splatter sticky slimes and uncover their gooey secrets under a microscope. It’s a month of slime-filled fun, wild animal encounters and messy discoveries for all ages!

Beginning September 12, explore the PAW PatrolTM: Adventure Play traveling exhibit presented by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and sponsored by Florida Prepaid College Savings Plan and Chewy Vet Care. Based on the preschool series PAW Patrol®, produced by Spin Master Entertainment and airing on Nickelodeon, this interactive exhibit gives kids and their grown-ups an opportunity to run rescue missions and work together to overcome challenges in a fun and immersive environment. Visit Adventure Bay and meet the rescue pups, each inspired by a real-world job – there’s police officer (Chase), firefighter (Marshall), construction worker (Rubble), fearless pilot (Skye) and more. Just as the heroic pups, who believe “no job is too big, no pup is too small,” work together to protect their community on the TV show, families visiting MODS will work together to save the day and learn about how real-life professionals coordinate to keep people safe and happy. On select days, Chewy Vet Care will also host an interactive Vet Clinic, where children can step into the role of animal caretakers by practicing empathy and learning how to care for pets and other animals in need. Families will also have the opportunity to meet the brave individuals – both human and furry – who help keep our communities safe and healthy with Meet & Greets, a Touch-a-Truck Zone and K-9 Demonstrations. PAW Patrol: Adventure Play was produced by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis in partnership with Nickelodeon. The exhibit runs through January 11, 2026, and is included with admission to MODS.

Experience South Florida’s award-winning attraction featuring 150,000 square feet of dynamic science exhibits, an outdoor science park, a live animal collection, a rotating schedule of science shows, learning labs, café, store and a grand atrium featuring the Great Gravity Clock, a 52-foot-tall kinetic energy sculpture; the largest clock in Florida. The showpiece of the museum since 1993, this unique timepiece is one of only three in the world.

Included with Museum admission. Get tickets by visiting mods.org/tickets.
