Miami residents and visiting travelers are invited to round out their weekend by joining The Miami Takeover weekend series and coming together to participate in the Miami Takeover Beach Sweep & Cleanup on Sunday, July 27th, 2025 on Miami Beach where the Marseilles Hotel is located (1741 Collins Ave.) from 10:30AM to 11:30AM to help immediately reduce local trash and plastic pollution negatively impacting the beautiful sunny beaches that both visitors and locals enjoy. Bringing the community together to contribute to local marine life protection while fostering friendship and community is a value that MTO is passionate about when hosting travel weekend event series.
After enjoying an exhilarating weekend of vibrant events and nightlife experiences, it only makes sense to come together for an hour to do local community service in the region that has hosted the Miami Takeover every summer for the last 16 consecutive years.
With strong roots and family in Miami, the MTO founders are dedicated to hosting and producing events that fuse culture, music, art, networking, travel, nightlife and community service, ultimately building a stronger Miami where everyone can thrive.
Small acts of service and philanthropy that have even the smallest positive effect on the Black community is a part of the core values that MTO’s partners believe in. In an effort to blend community engagement with premier social events, following Sunday’s Miami Takeover Beach Sweep, the weekend will conclude with an electrifying “Splash Daytime Pool Party” at The Backyard Pool Club located at the iconic Marseilles Hotel (1741 Collins Ave, Miami Beach) from 3PM to 9PM.
