A cappella group Take 6 is the final act at Pinecrest Gardens’ JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl, a COVID-19 relief concert series. Their performance will be broadcast live from the venue’s Banyan Bowl and live streamed into music lovers homes at 8 p.m. EDT on Saturday, April 10. The group has performed with legends such as Stevie Wonder, Brian Wilson, Ben E. King, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Al Jarreau, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, and Whitney Houston, to name a few. Quincy Jones heralded the group as the “baddest vocal cats on the planet.” Their various Grammy Awards are in categories ranging from Soul, Jazz, and R&B.

A generous percentage of the proceeds from the COVID-19 relief fundraiser will go directly to World Central Kitchen. Due to the pandemic and social distancing requirements, JazzAid Live at the Banyan Bowl is available via pay-per-view, livestream only. The cost is $15 for this final performance. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pinecrestgardens.org/jazzaid.
