The National Hotel, Collins Avenue’s elegant and cinematic Art Deco hotel is commemorating the King of Pop, Michael Jackson with a happy hour to honor his contributions and influence in music and dance. June 25th, marks the ninth year since the legend has passed away, and to pay tribute to his musical influences, fans are welcomed to experience live music and interpretations of the classics such as “Dirty Diana,” “Man in The Mirror,” “The Way You Make Me Feel,” and plenty more by Victor Valdez at The Blues Bar. Guests will get to enjoy tapas specials and a signature “Smooth Criminal” MJ-inspired cocktail composed of Kahlua, Bailey’s, Jack Daniels, a simple expresso, and is served on the ice and topped with whipped cream and a black cherry.
