Forward-thinking and unique, the inaugural Mana Miami art fair presents a dynamic agenda of exhibitions, conversations, and events organized by Mana Contemporary. Held at Mana’s Wynwood campus, a 140,000-square-foot facility that covers 22 acres, the fair offers collectors a diverse roster of programming that echoes the art organization’s commitment to the creative process.
Mana Miami includes three distinct displays: Mana Monumental, a selection of large-scale works by artists who have a studio in, exhibited at, or are otherwise connected to Mana; GLE at Mana, recent projects from the celebrated screen-printing studio Gary Lichtenstein Editions; and Dirty Geometry, a survey of twenty-three Latin American artists who reject traditional geometric style in favor of a playful, erotic ethos. Daily roundtable discussions, called Mana Sessions, explore themes such as alternative museum pedagogy, the evolution of independent art publications, and social media-driven shifts in aesthetic perception. An exclusive VIP Lounge doubles as a rendezvous for guests to connect with participating artists. Conceived as an alternative to the traditional art fair model, Mana Miami explores the making process of a contemporary art community that is at once relevant, progressive, and profound.
