The MidBeach Neighborhood Alliance (MBNA) will have its monthly meeting on September 11th to continue its service as a platform for Miami Beach homeowners and businesses as well as partake in a special observance for all the victims of 9/11.  All residents and business owners in the MidBeach area are invited to attend the MBNA meeting on Tuesday, September 11th at 6:30 p.m. at the Caribbean Condominium located at 3739 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, 33140.

The MBNA was formed by community leaders who sought a vehicle to enable MidBeach residents to collaborate and communicate common interests effectively and mobilize public support on important issues.

The MBNA has been the creation of an Ad Hoc Committee to formalize and define the key components of the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of the organization.

During the September 11th meeting, the MBNA founding members will have a special remembrance for the victims of 9/11 with opening remarks by Commissioner Jerry Libbin. MBNA will then continue to discuss the mission, goals and constitution of the organization intended to represent the interests of homeowners in the MidBeach District of Miami Beach, which spans from 23rd Street to 69th Street.

Topics of discussions will include: Bylaws revisions, IRS – responsible parties, membership strategy, 2013 election plans, good and welfare by unit owners, adjournment, as well as the discussion for a new Florida Department of Transportation project for A1A/Indiana Creek Dr.

Founding partners of the MBNA include: The Continental Group, 5600 Condominium, Blue Diamond, Canyon Ranch Residence, The Caribbean, Carriage House, The Executive Condominium, Green Diamond, Imperial House, Maison Grande, Mosaic, Regency Tower, Seacoast 5151 and Seacoast 5700.

Additionally, founding members of the new MBNA include: Miami Beach Commissioner and Vice Mayor Jerry Libbin, Matthew Abramowitz, Alejandro & Kate Arce, Avra Bank, David Basch, Matteo Bianchi, Kevin Brill, Alicia Casanova, David & Carol Cohen, Justin Fuhrman, Michael Girotto, Muhammad Hasan, Nancy Ladd, Roger Leifer, Simon Nemni, Chana Perl, James Richmond, Laverne Rodriguez, Miriam Ruiz, Kim Selmore and Gustavo Verite.
