Join us for the scare of a lifetime! Come experience the Mansion of Mayhem: Haunted House and Masquerade Macabre. Friday night, after being thoroughly spooked by the Haunted House, come enjoy the sounds of Night Kitchen, Paper Dolls and other local bands downstairs at Harvey’s by the Bay.

Saturday we’ll kick off the scarier show off at 8:30 p.m. with a contingent of zombies participating in the “Thrill the World” event – thousands of people dancing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance simultaneously across the world. The Masquerade Macabre will follow, so come on down and dance the night away with the DJ E and VJ Jason Boogie at AV8 and raffle your life away with the Raffle of Terrors… and don’t forget a costume …dress to KILL!

All proceeds to benefit the Miami Prison Books Project and the Know Dade Newsletter. Miami Prison Book Project provides books and legal information to people incarcerated in Florida’s jails and prisons. Florida’s prison population has now topped 100,000 and many of these prisoners do not have access to reading materials or sufficient legal materials. Most of the books collected will be mailed directly to prisoners upon requests received. This project also brings boxes of books to prison libraries. Miami Prison Books Project plans on serving the Tri-County area. Once funding is secured, this project looks forward to becoming an effective program.
