The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami (MOCA) will host a discussion and lecture panel in conjunction with its summer exhibition Intersectionality. The panel will focus on censorship, the handling of exhibitions in public institutions, and the impacts on South Florida artists, with a tradition in western art of censorship from Michelangelo to Mapplethorpe.

This is a valuable opportunity to meet the panelists including Richard Haden, Intersectionality curator and moderator; Edwin King, artist; Griselle Gaudnik, artist; Wendy Salkin, PH. D Candidate, Philosophy, Harvard University; and Laura Luna, artist.

The meet and greet will occur from 6-7 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Café Crème. The panel begins promptly at 7 p.m.
