Haitian Heritage Museum Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary

Miami, FL. (January 22, 2014) – The Haitian Heritage Museum, a not for profit organization that is committed to highlighting and preserving Haiti’s rich culture, is hosting their 10th Annual Gala that celebrates a decade since first opening the museums doors in 2004.
The Haitian Heritage Museum will celebrate a Decade of Cultural Enlightenment at their annual fundraising gala. The gala will celebrate a decade of the museum serving as a platform for the Haitian culture through education and art. The gala will also honor and celebrate the achievements of community leaders, philanthropists and thespians directly impacting the Haitian community. The keynote speaker is Mayor Harry LaRosiliere from Plano, TX, the first Haitian/African-American Mayor elected. The gala takes place on Saturday, February 22nd. The event will kick-off at 7:00 PM with a cocktail party featuring music, cocktails and auction items. Special guest appearance includes Jimmy Jean Louis, Hollywood International Actor, and a live performance by the African Dance Troupe Delou Africa. Honorees include Leslie Buckley and Commissioner Jean Monestime. Tickets for the Gala start at $100 per person. Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are also available.
