Bella Beach at Trump International Beach Resort
18001 Collins Avenue
Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160

Attention Miami’s Mademoiselles and Monsieurs! Get ready to throw on your bathing suits, drink some bubbly and have a ‘ball’ this Labor Day weekend at Trump International Beach Resort’s oceanfront Bella Beach restaurant for its very first Veuve Clicquot Pétanque Tournament. Petanque – which is pronounced "pay-tonk" and seemingly goes well with a glass of chilled champagne – is the French variation of Italy’s Bocce and involves rolling or tossing several hollow steel balls as close as possible to a small wooden target ball, called "cochonnet.”
Not out to prove yourself a champion? Bella Beach, where Florida’s Riviera meets St. Tropez, offers the ideal oceanfront oasis for sipping premium champagne and dining alfresco on exquisite Mediterranean-styled bites. With the sea and sun captivating their senses, guests are invited to tan naturally while soaking up South Florida’s unparalleled sunshine.
The Petanque teams who ‘trump’ the rest will be awarded with the following prizes:
·         1st place Grand Prize winner will receive a two-night stay at Trump International Beach Resort and a Veuve Clicquot amenity
·         2nd place winner will receive a spa treatment for two at the Resort’s award-winning Aquanox Spa and a gift from Veuve Clicquot
·         3rd place team will receive dinner for two at Bella Beach and a gift from Veuve Clicquot
Participants must register in teams of two and participation is free. To sign up for the tournament contact [email protected] or 305-673-3873. Bella Beach will also be hosting practice sessions at 2:30 p.m. each Sunday in August leading up to the tournament.
