J. Ricky Arriola, James R. Kaufman and Eric R. Sisser will present the short plays they each wrote at the 6th Annual Miami Stories, New Theatre’s signature fundraising event. Enjoy a night of great food, drinks, music, raffle prizes and the three World Premiere plays. Arriola’s play is titled Save the Swanford about an emcee at a fundraiser who takes the podium drunk and reveals secrets, creating hysteria. Kaufman’s play is Pilgrimage on Rye about three college guys who make a pilgrimage to the Rascal House. And Sisser’s play, as yet untitled, and recounts the story of his 30-year drug addiction and how he is one of the lucky ones. Miami Marlins President David Samson will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Tickets are $100. The Roxy is across from the F.I.U. South Campus.
