The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, South Florida’s premier retail destination, invites local not-for-profits and arts related vendors to participate in its “Spring for the Arts” one day showcase on Sat., June 2 from 11 am to 3 p.m. This already successful effort will unite the arts community with a one-day showcase of promotional displays and performing and visual arts experiences.

Local not-for-profit art organizations are encouraged to be part of this effort at The Galleria to promote upcoming shows, classes and volunteer/donor needs. All groups will also be invited to The Galleria’s “Spring for the Arts” kick-off fundraiser on May 31 at Truluck’s Ft. Lauderdale to benefit Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre and to honor arts supporters and advocates, including Holly Bodenweber and Steve Hudson of the Hudson Family Foundation, Richard Jay Simon, Barbara O’ Keefe and Myra Weaver.

“As a continued supporter of the arts, The Galleria is proud to provide this platform intended to unite the arts in Broward and to raise more public funds,” said Melissa Milroy, marketing manager at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. “This effort will educate, inspire and motivate individuals and businesses to rally behind the arts for a better Broward County.”
