Young Ladies of Diverse Backgrounds Compete for Prizes – Where Beauty & Brains Together Determine the Winner

Opportunity is knocking for those young ladies participating in the 2010 Miss Miami Tropic Scholarship Beauty Pageant. The pageant prides itself in providing prospective opportunities to young girls from diverse backgrounds. Participants receive opportunities to further their education and gain a broader prospective on entering a competitive job market and economy. The pageant will be hosted at the Double Tree Hotel on Sunday, October 24th, 2010. The road to Miss USA begins with Miss Miami Tropic.

The Miss Miami Tropic Scholarship Beauty Pageant is a prestigious competition that leads into the nationally known, Miss USA pageants. Last year, Lissette Garcia, Miss Miami Tropic 2009, became Miss Florida USA and is now on her way to compete for the title of Miss USA!

This year’s event will be held at the Double Tree Hotel (711 NW 72 Ave., Miami, FL 33126) on Sunday, October 24th, 2010 starting with a lunch at 2:00p.m. General admission tickets are $55.00 with media gaining complimentary access if they RSVP in advance. The competition is divided into three age categories; 12-14, 15-17 and 18-26. The winner of the 15-17 year old category will move on to compete in Miss Florida Teen USA where a college scholarship of $40,000 from Nova Southeastern University awaits the winner. The winner of the 18-26 year old category will advance to compete in the Miss Florida USA pageant. All fees for the Miss Miami Tropic winners that compete in the Miss Florida USA pageants are paid in full by the Miss Miami Tropic pageant.
