Valentine Day Weekend at The Raleigh 2/14/10

On Valentine’s Day, The Raleigh hotel will partner up with Miami Pets Alive, a coalition dedicated to alleviating the suffering and killing of adoptable animals, for the “My Furry Valentine” brunch. Guests are invited to bring their dogs who can enjoy items from the Doggie Menu such as sushi rolls made from ground sirloin beef, mint, carrots and rice. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a pet “matchmaking” in which they will be paired with an animal from the organization. 10% of human and doggie brunch sales will be donated to the charity.

In the evening, The Restaurant at The Raleigh invites guests to enjoy a delicious Valentine’s Day prix fixe menu consisting of 3-courses paired with wines. Guests will choose from dishes such as Champagne Grilled Maine Lobster and Pan Seared Veal tenderloin as well as from The Restaurant’s a la carte menu, a mix of tropical Florida cuisine with a South American influence, created by Directeur des Cuisines Alex Asteinza.
