Kick off the new school year by giving back to the Grove!
Join the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District (BID) and Miami Waterkeeper on Saturday, August 22 from 10 AM–12 PM at Peacock Park for a family-friendly Back to School Community Cleanup.
Neighbors, families and students are invited to roll up their sleeves and help keep Coconut Grove beautiful while celebrating the start of a new school year. All cleanup supplies will be provided, and students who participate can receive two community service hours.
We’ll wrap up the morning with a debris weigh-in to see the impact we’ve made together. After the cleanup, participants will receive a map of recommended spots to grab lunch and explore the Grove.
And there’s a sweet reward for a morning of giving back: kids can enjoy free ice cream courtesy of AVA MediterrAegean Coconut Grove, with refreshments available for adults.
