Actors’ Playhouse proudly presents the United States Premiere of Step By Step, a sharp, laugh-out-loud new play by Peter Quilter. Best known for End of the Rainbow—the Broadway hit that inspired the Oscar-winning film “Judy”—Quilter delivers another theatrical gem. In this fast-paced comedy, three women embark on a two-day hike to honor a late friend, each carrying a stone inscribed with a final message. But their journey quickly veers off course, becoming a hilarious and heartfelt exploration of friendship, grief, and the uphill climbs that shape us all.
