Beloved New Orleans chef and James Beard Award winner Nina Compton returns to her Miami roots for a one-night-only celebration of her debut cookbook, Kwéyòl / Creole: Recipes, Stories and Tings from a St. Lucian’s Chef Journey. Hosted at Bar Bucce, the recently opened casual hotspot from her longtime friend Chef Mike Pirolo of Macchialina, the evening will feature a book signing and a selection of signature bites straight from the pages of the book. Guests can expect Caribbean-influenced dishes like Cow Heel Soup, Catfish Sandwiches, Accra, and her famed Roasted Jerk Corn.
