Featuring Poets Naoko Fujimoto and Leslie Sainz, hosted with SWWIM – Supporting Women Writers in Miami. Naoko Fujimoto was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, and is author of Where I Was Born, winner of the editor’s choice by Willow Books (2019) and Glyph:Graphic Poetry=Trans. Sensory by Tupelo Press (2020). Leslie Sainz is a first generation Miami-born Cuban-American, and was the recipient of a 2021 NEA Poetry Fellowship, receiving her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
