Our mentors are the backbone of Guitars Over Guns. These guys give their time, talent, and hearts every single day to uplift and inspire youth through the power of music education. On August 7th, our entire mentor fam – some coming all the way from Chicago, some repping their home turf right here in Miami – are convening at Wynwood’s Veza Sur brewery for an evening of drinks, jams, new friends, and a good cause!

Join us from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. as we celebrate our rockstar mentors and toast their completion of our annual training institute! Plus, 30% of all beverage sales will be donated back to Guitars Over Guns, supporting our mission to empower youth through arts-based mentorship.

Guitars Over Guns is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Miami and Chicago that offers students from disadvantaged backgrounds a powerful combination of music education and mentorship with professional musicians to help them overcome hardship, find their voice and reach their potential as tomorrow’s leaders. Guitars Over Guns creates safe spaces for youth to express themselves through music and empowers them to make positive choices at school, at home and in their communities.
