Village of Merrick Park and Neiman Marcus Coral Gables are proud to host a Collection Party for Fashionably Conscious, Miami’s beloved fashion fundraiser, during Neiman Marcus’ highly anticipated semi-annual Trend Event. Hosts – Iva Kosovic, Ali Codina, Steven Rodriguez, Lourdes Jofré-collett, Liza Walton, Darlene Perez, Leila Samardzich Farah and Alex Cohen.

Each year leading up to the Fashionably Conscious fundraiser, a series of boutique “Collection Parties” occur throughout the mall at different merchant locations, where Miami’s most respected philanthropists, community leaders and fashion icons donate gently worn designer clothing and handbags, creating the inventory for the fundraising sale that occurs in September. Some of the hosts of this event, who will be cleaning out their closets to donate to Fashionably Conscious and make room to restock it with some new items from Neiman Marcus include Iva Kosovic, Ali Codina, Steven Rodriguez, Lourdes Jofré-collett, Liza Walton, Darlene Perez, Frances Sevilla-Sacasa, Leila Samardzich Farah and Alex Cohen.

The event will also serve as the semi-annual Neiman Marcus Trend Event, featuring a fashion showcase of the latest styles for fall 2013. Shoppers will enjoy bubbly and bites with music by DJ Mike Cruz. Those who donate to the fashionable cause and make a Neiman Marcus purchase that night will receive a shopping incentive.

The main Fashionably Conscious three-day sale event from September 20-22 will allow hundreds of shoppers to score timeless designer pieces and vintage finds at unbeatable prices. All proceeds will be donated to Coconut Grove Cares’ The Barnyard Community Center and offer essential unrestricted funds to support the summer camp and after-school programs, providing a safe haven for hundreds of children in the West Grove community.
