With people, you only get one chance to make a first impression and with your manuscript, it’s the same. This workshop will focus on the opening pages of a memoir manuscript with a focus on establishing voice, method and narrative stakes.
The workshop will include a combination of manuscript feedback and examining examples of how other writers have started their memoirs.
