Downtown Hollywood
along Hollywood Boulevard between 19th and 21st Avenues

Cruise on down for the next Dream Car Classic, where dozens of classic and custom cars will be on display.

The Dream Car Classic, produced by the Downtown Hollywood Business Association (DHBA), features pre-1980 classic cars as well as modern classics and custom cars post 1981, car show awards and DJ oldies music. The free monthly car show, a longtime popular event that returned in February after a nearly two-year absence, draws both serious automobile enthusiasts and families looking for an entertaining way to spend a Sunday.

Car show coordinator David Erickson said the revival of the Dream Car Classic in Downtown Hollywood is symbolic of the resurgence of the national economy.
“People want to enjoy daily life, and the automobile brings that joy,” said Erickson, president of Street Smart Events Inc. “Downtown Hollywood is a great destination every day of every week, with a great mix of active businesses. Our restaurants represent our diversity of cultures. The automobiles at the monthly Dream Car Classic represent the culture of the past and our current times.”
Antique autos, muscle cars and exotic concept cars are all welcome. The winners of the People’s Choice Award in the classic and modern classes will each receive a $100 cash prize, with Dream Car Classic T-shirts awarded to the owners of the Top Ten Vehicles. Car show registration is $10 and will take place from 8 to 10 a.m. Participating vehicles should enter the show at 20th Avenue and Tyler Street.
There is no charge for admission to the Dream Car Classic, which takes place the first Sunday of the month through June. Upcoming dates are May 6 and June 3.

The Dream Car Classic is sponsored by the City of Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Kindred Hospital South Florida – Hollywood and Hollywood Kia.
