Arts Charter Wrap-Around
Jen Karetnick, director of the Miami Arts Charter Creative Writing Program, wraps Miami Arts Charter’s building with a blank canvas of paper. Students, local and visiting poets are encouraged to stop by and paint their own poem on the school.

Opium Magazine presents its first Miami edition of the internationally acclaimed Literary Death Match. Celebrity judges rate local performers in a winner-take-all literary talent show. Admission free.

In addition to the special events, poetry can be found at Biscayne National Park, at Fairchild, at a Miami City Commission Meeting, on abandoned buildings in Miami, by a judge welcoming the daily Jury Pool, Soul Of Miami and everywhere in between!
