SCOPE Art Show returns to the sands of Miami Beach for its 14th edition, amidst tremendous support from the City of Miami Beach, an unprecedented outpouring of critical acclaim from press, curators and collectors, and a digital and social media outreach campaign that garnered over 110 million impressions. SCOPE Miami Beach’s monumental pavilion will once again be situated on historic Ocean Drive to welcome near 40,000 visitors over the course of 6 days. Over 120 International Exhibitors from 27 countries and 48 cities will present ground breaking work, alongside SCOPE’s FEATURE programs and sponsor integrations, encompassing music, design, fashion and beyond.

Long-established as the original incubator for emerging work, SCOPE’s Breeder Program celebrates its 14th year of introducing new galleries to the contemporary market. A remarkable opportunity for exposure, Breeder Program alumni include: Peres Projects, John Connelly Presents, Galeria Enrique Guerrero, Daniel Reich Gallery, Bischoff/Weiss, INVISIBLE-EXPORTS, SEVENTEEN, ROKEBY, Taxter Spengemann, Magical Artroom and Spinello Projects, among other notable galleries.

For the third year in a row, VH1 is teaming up with SCOPE to bring the ultimate mash-up of ART + MUSIC to Miami Beach. SCOPE is unrivalled as the premier showcase for emerging contemporary art and VH1 continues its commitment to music and to helping expose its audience to up-and-coming artists with buzz-worthy music programming like the You Oughta Know concert, Make a Band Famous and Storytellers. On Friday, December 5, VH1 will host the Official VH1 + SCOPE Party, featuring a performance by one of today’s hottest artists on the music scene.

SCOPE Miami Beach opens on Tuesday, December 2, with its exclusive Platinum VIP Brunch benefiting the Mourning Family Foundation, followed by its VIP & Press First View Event, and to the general public December 3 – 7, 2014.

For the third year in a row, VH1 is teaming up with SCOPE to bring the ultimate mash-up of ART + MUSIC to Miami Beach. SCOPE is unrivaled as the premier showcase for emerging contemporary art, and VH1 and SCOPE’s shared commitment to fresh, innovative up-andcoming art of all disciplines makes them the perfect match to celebrate the crossover between the two worlds in fun and exciting new ways.

In past years, VH1 + SCOPE have hosted unforgettable parties featuring performances by today’s hottest artists. In 2012, VH1’s You Oughta Know Artists on the Rise brought the band Metric down for some fun in the sun, while last year’s party featured a live performance by Grammy-nominated duo Tegan and Sara. 2013 also saw a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration between painter Hebru Brantley and producer/rapper Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean. This year, experience live music and art like never before. Along with music performances from special guests, award-winning visual artist Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic will take over the VH1+SCOPE Party with an immersive art installation. Don’t miss the week’s hottest – and loudest – ticket in town.

When it comes to live music at SCOPE, you can count on VH1 to bring it – once again presenting the only fully plugged live performances of Art Week. VH1 is all about continuing its commitment to music and helping expose its audience to up-and-coming artists with buzzworthy music programming like the You Oughta Know Concert and Storytellers.

Last year’s inaugural You Oughta Know Concert featured performances by Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Haim, the Lumineers and Emeli Sandé. This year’s event brought the entire Class of 2014 together at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom – featuring 11 amazing acts including A Great Big World, Aloe Blacc, Tove Lo, and Sam Smith. VH1 also keeps the music alive on a daily basis! You can catch daily music performances on Big Morning Buzz Live – and weekly artist appearances on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown! And of course VH1’s beloved Storytellers Live franchise continues to showcase intimate and unforgettable performances by your favorite artists.
