“The Godfather of Nuevo Latino Cuisine” and James Beard Award winning Chef Douglas Rodriguez announces the relocation of his signature restaurant De Rodriguez Cuba to Miami Beach’s chic South of Fifth neighborhood. Serving his acclaimed Cuban fare in the Hilton Bentley location, De Rodriguez Cuba on Ocean will host guests ready to feast on ‘the best of the best’ from Chef Rodriguez.

Located on Ocean Drive, the aptly named De Rodriguez Cuba on Ocean features an elegant, modern design, similar to the original. Showcasing Chef Rodriguez’s masterful Nuevo Latino culinary techniques, his renowned De Rodriguez Cuba menu will incorporate his delectable ceviche creations. De Rodriguez Cuba on Ocean offers indoor and outdoor seating and two full bars, including one poolside and a 25-foot marble raw bar. The main dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows open up to the hotel pool deck allowing the warm ocean breeze to pass easily through, setting the mood for a relaxing dining experience.

The inspired menu features Chef Rodriguez’s tried and true handcrafted tapas and delectable entrees including the Duck Duo of chive and scallions crepa stuffed with duck ropa vieja, candied walnuts and goat cheese/crispy duck leg served with tangerine demi-glace; Vaca Frita with avocado and tomato chimichurri, and Chicken Imperial of yellow rice with roasted peppers filled with chicken stew. Diners will be delighted by Chef Rodriguez’s 15 new unique and sumptuous ceviche varieties including Big Eye Tuna and Watermelon with kumquat, yuzu, thai basil and tarragon, Main Lobster Thai infused with coconut water and thai chili, Mixed Seafood with mussel, clam, shrimp, octopus, calamari, lime juice, aji amarillo and sweet potato slices, as well as De Rodriguez Cuba’s acclaimed Conch and Snapper topped with tomato, red pepper, crispy onions and garlic.
