All it takes is compassion and a little time to become a hospice volunteer for
VITAS® Healthcare. Hospice volunteers spend time with patients at the end of life
and their families-providing a listening ear and a warm and caring presence.
Volunteers are trained in communication skills and family dynamics,
and learn about the dying experience and ways to positively affect
the patients and their caregivers.
