Join us as we dine at one of the Design District’s hottest new restaurants, Egg and Dart! Bacchus Dinner Club will be treated to a specially made menu of o…ut of this world flavors and a mixology demonstration that will answer the age old question, how exactly do you muddle a cocktail?!

Co-owners Costa Grillas and Niko Theodorou hail from families with years in the restaurant business. Grillas earned his stripes at the acclaimed Coral Gables institution, Maria’s, where diners have enjoyed traditional Greek cooking for over 28 years. Partner Theodorou’s family operates the popular Sea Satin Market, a romantic waterfront restaurant nestled in the heart of Mykonos. The combination of their backgrounds and their creative, timely concept for the restaurant are certain to make Egg & Dart a premiere hotspot in what is arguably the most trend-setting, culinary zip code in town.

First, Costa and his team will be demonstrating a cocktail he made specifically for the Bacchus Dinner Club!!! The “not on the menu” cocktail is an amazing drink made with masticha liquor, only produced in the island of Chios. Extracted from the Mastic plant.

SKINOS FRESH: Muddled cucumber, Hendrix Gin, Masticha liquor, fresh lime juice, dash simple syrup, angostura bitters, rocks, garnished with slice cucumber

The Bacchus Dinner Club Dinner Menu:
Family Style Dining

1. Chicken Saganaki: Flambeed chicken breast, fresh peeled tomatoes, feta and ouzo

2. Pikilia: assortment of Greek spreads. Tzatziki-garlic yogurt cucumber spread, tirokafteri- habanero pepper feta whipped spread, melizanosalata- garlic dill eggpland salad, taramosalata-cod roe potato purree, hummus

3. Salata karpooz- mixed greens, fresh watermelon, manouri soft goat cheese, sunflower seeds, sweet watermelon vinaigrette dressing

4: Zucchini Croquettes: zucchini, dill, mint, goat cheese, lightly pan fried

5. Crispy almond cheese pie:drizzled with attiki honey and sesame

Dessert: Halva Ice Cream Cake (sesame seed extract flavored ice cream)

Arrival Time: 6:30 Dinner: 7:00pm

Price includes dinner, demonstration, tax and gratuity and your first drink. Cash bar thereafter. RSVP’s close on March 6, 2012. SPACE IS LIMITED and this dinner is anticipated to sell out.
