To celebrate National Drink Wine Day, the American Fine Wine Competition president and co-founder Shari Gherman is hosting an open-to-the-public tasting with award-wining wines from the 2012 competition.

For $15 per person, guests will enjoy light hors dâ€™oeuvres while sampling a vast selection of all-American wines, including pours from the extensive wine collection at Wave 2700 Restaurant. Attendees will have the option (additional $5) to compete in a blind tasting for a chance to win tickets to the upcoming Allied Kitchen & Bath VIP Connoisseur Reception on Thursday, March 8 or the Consumer Challenge & Wine Carnival Thursday, March 22. The soiree is also an opportunity for guests to socialize with wine experts and learn about the upcoming 2012 Gala with host chef Emeril Lagasse.
