“Noche Flamenca” is a Spanish-themed evening featuring flamenco performances and an array of Spanish wines. The wine reception will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a flamenco performance at 7:00 p.m. The performance will feature dancer Clarita Filgueiras and guitarists Jose “Chuscales” Valle and Vicente “El Cartucho” Griego. Both the reception and performance will take place in the Fewell Gallery, the space where the Museum is currently housing La Florida, an antique Spanish map exhibit.

“The Coral Gables Museum is excited to celebrate Spanish culture with ‘Noche Flamenca.’” said Arva Moore Parks. “Guests will enjoy an evening of Spanish wine and entertainment, as well as the opportunity to see a rare exhibition of antique Spanish maps of Florida.”

The Coral Gables Museum celebrates the civic arts of architecture, city planning, landscape architecture, historic and environmental preservation and history—the elements that define Coral Gables. It is a true public/private partnership between the City of Coral Gables and the Coral Gables Museum Corp., a private, not for profit 501.c.3 Corporation. The Museum opened its first exhibitions in October 2011. For more information on Coral Gables Museum, please visit www.coralgablesmuseum.org or call 305-603-8067.
