International restaurant and lifestyle entrepreneurs Jack and Lucia Penrod are thrilled to announce the December 10, 2011 re-opening of their iconic Miami Beach venue Pearl Restaurant & Champagne Lounge. Pearl, which originally opened in 1999 and closed in December 2005, was a favorite among A-List celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Matt Damon, Paris Hilton, Janet Jackson and Sting, to name a few. Pearl returns better than ever at the same address (One Ocean Drive, Miami Beach) and will offer guests a new exquisite menu of world cuisine served with an aesthetic flair by renowned Chef Sylvain Noel complemented by an extensive cocktail, wine and champagne menu. Upon entering Pearl Restaurant & Champagne Lounge, guests will delight in the 8,000 square foot space boasting the familiar yet chic all white décor with orange accents throughout and its famous champagne-only sunken bar in the center.

It has everything: delicious food, champagne, great entertainment and music that appeals to all ages and cultures. Our international clientele will love the glamorous return of Pearl” adds Lucia Penrod.

Executive Chef Sylvain Noel creates a feast for both the eyes and the palate with his use of eclectic flavors and sharp attention to detail. The menu will be comprised of an array of delectable dishes from around the world. Examples of menu items, which are organized by region, include: Middle Eastern: Organic Mixed Baby Vegetable Tagine and Crudite Pot with Hummus, Dates and Tangerine Lace; Latin American: Pan Seared Chilean Seabass and Heart of Palm Stuffed with Creamy White Bean and Epazot; American: 12 oz. Charred Ribeye and Frenched Colorado Rack of Lamb; Asian: Miso Black Cod and Beef Rolls deglazed with teriyaki sauce; and European: Atlantic Dover Sole with parsnip and emulsified caper butter. An exciting aspect of Pearl’s menu will be the premium selection of the world’s finest caviar. The champagne menu offers several distinct labels, both by the bottle and by the glass, and an eclectic wine list including the world’s leading varietals, upcoming artesian regions and select boutique brands. In addition to the spacious interior dining room, Pearl will also have a new oceanfront terrace and ceviche bar.

Pearl will combine superior service and quality with the casual vibe and high energy of a neighborhood hotspot. Dramatic white drapes will divide the restaurant from the lounge area and DJ booth during dinner hours. At 11 PM each night, the drapes will open turning the restaurant into a more lounge-like atmosphere where guests can enjoy music and cocktails with friends in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
