In celebration of the last LoweDown of the season, the Lowe Art Museum presents a very special Cinco de Mayo party. This event is in conjunction with Miami Museum Month, Membership Appreciation Evening, as well as the opening reception for the new ArtLab@the Lowe student curated exhibition entitled Women, Windows and the Word: Diverging Perspectives on Islamic Art. Guests can enjoy light Mexican nibbles, a Mariachi performance, and cocktails courtesy of Bacardi and PAMA Spirits. Other beverages provided by Vitamin Water Zero, SmartWater, and VitaCoco. Additional Sponsorship provided by Publix.

May is Miami Museum Month and the Lowe is, again, one of the participants. The goal of Miami Museum Month is to encourage the public to become members of a museum. Membership at any of the participating institutions grants them a free pass for any of the other museums. This year the participating institutions are offering not only reciprocal admission, but now visitors and locals can take advantage of a two-for-one admission offer.

Regular Admission (not including special events) is $10; $5 for Seniors and Non-UM Students; Free for Lowe Art Museum Members, University of Miami students, faculty and staff, and children under 12.
