Drawing on inspiration from Ketel One Vodkaâ€™s Gentlemen, This is Vodka campaign; Miami magazine has partnered with the world-renowned label to create a one-of-a-kind multi-platform program aimed at Miami’s philanthropic Hispanic community. Miami magazine and Ketel One Vodka have identified five in-the-know Hispanic males who embody the suave sophistication of a Ketel One Vodka Gentleman.
These Modern Gentlemen including Vince Castro, Frank Kelly, Michael Laas, Scott Srebnick and Ramon Rasco are influential men in our Magic City and active figures among Miamiâ€™s most prestigious philanthropic organizations including, Mercy Hospital, Project Vacant Streets, Sails for Sustenance, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Community Partnership for Homeless.
Each Gentlemen has been paired with a local restaurant, a Ketel One signature cocktail and are featured in an eight page gate-fold in the January/February Best of the City 2011 issue of Miami magazine. Throughout the months of January and February readers of the magazine and followers of these distinct gents are invited to taste the signature cocktails which can be found at either Capital Grille, Blue Door Fish, Gotham Steak, Joe’s Stone Crab and Truluck’s. Once they’ve tasted the cocktails participants are then urged to visit the official Modern Hispanic Gentlemen website (www.modernluxury.com/ketelone) and vote for their favorite one. The gentleman with the most votes wins his charity a $5,000 donation courtesy of Ketel One, all other charities receive a $3,000 donation. Deadline for Voting in Monday, February 28, 2010 at 10PM EST.
The program will culminate with an exclusive cocktail soiree in early March, held at a chic hot spot where Miami magazine and Ketel One will announce the winner and guests will toasts our Modern Gentleman and their respective charities.

Co-founder of The Sails for Sustenance (SFS), Michael Laas makes time in his schedule as an environmental engineer to help revitalize local fishing economies on the Southern coast of Haiti/Dominican Republic taking active roles in many local arts and culture organizations.
When Ramon Rasco is not in the courtroom fighting the good fight, he is a dedicated advocate for the homeless. As co-founder of the Community Partnership for the Homelessâ€™ Next Generation Council and co-chair for the organizationâ€™s wildly successful CPH Celebrity 5K, Ramon finds personal satisfaction in the lasting relationships he has made as a result of the time and dedication he lends to the causes he supports.
An active member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami for over eight years, Scott Srebnick welcomed the experience of posing for the camera for a good cause. Scott knows the true meaning behind giving back and is a quintessential Modern Gentleman.
