On Friday, May 16, Reserve Cares—the charitable arm of Reserve Padel—will host the inaugural Moonlight Open at Reserve Miami Seaplane. Held in honor of Charlie Moon, a cherished friend, colleague, and member of the Reserve family who is currently battling Leukemia, the event will raise funds to support leukemia patients at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Moonlight Open will unite the local community around sport, philanthropy, and celebration, with the ambitious goal of raising $750,000 to $1,000,000 in support of cancer research and treatment at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

“Padel has truly saved my life—it’s given me strength, purpose, and community during the hardest battles of my life. As a four-time cancer survivor, and now facing it for a fifth time, every day is a gift. When I play, I don’t care about winning or losing—I’m just grateful to be on the court, alive. Events like the Moonlight Open are more than just charity fundraisers; they’re lifelines. They bring hope, awareness, and energy to people who need it most. Reserve Cares isn’t just a name—I’m living proof that they really do care. They believed in me every day, and now, I fight not just for me, but to help others live fuller, more beautiful lives despite cancer.”— Charlie Moon

“My parents, who both had their own battles with cancer, always taught me that success means nothing if you don’t use it to lift others—you do well, so you can do good. Cancer has touched my life personally, as it has for so many others. Charlie is a beloved member of our Reserve family, and we wanted to stand beside him as he faces this horrific disease. The Moonlight Open is our way of honoring him and supporting everyone in this fight against cancer.” — Wayne Boich, Founder of Reserve Padel

The day will start at 4:00pm and the pro-am tournament will start at 4:30pm with a $5,000 Entry Fee. At 8:00 PM, guests will enjoy a world-class exhibition match with the top players in the world featuring:
