Join us for a music-based creative workshop led by artist Chris Dougnac. Participants will use analog methods to craft their own mixtapes based off of their personal top ten playlist of choice. Using analog technology to live out their dj’ing dreams, participants will learn how to rearrange and mashup music on a cassette tape. As an added bonus, Dougnac will share paper folding techniques which participants will use in the creation of j-card sleeves for the cassette’s jewel case.

*Participants must come with a pair of earbuds and a premade playlist of 10 songs on their preferred music app.

Complimentary parking is available in MDC’s Wolfson Campus parking garage located at 500 NE 2nd Ave., Miami, FL 33132.

Light refreshments will be served.

Collage materials provided by Bookleggers Library.

The Museum of Art and Design (MOAD) at MDC will be capturing footage of the event, including its attendees. By entering the area, and/or participating in the event, you consent to the recording and photography and its use in any form.
